A pioneer of German minimal techno who has released works under various names such as Mike Ink, Studio 1, and Gas. Wolfgang Voigt's pseudonym Wassermann's 1999 remix EP of "WIR".
A1 original is German new wave techno that you can't get enough of. At A2, producers Michael Mayer and Tobias Thomas, who represent the Kompakt label, remixed it into hard minimal techno with a dry rhythm and industrial sounds.
Cocoon boss Sven Väth and Alter Ego duo Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke join the B-side. A deep minimalist remix that makes the most of the original piano.
This is a record you won't find today from the famous edgy label Profan, who never neglected to experiment with German minimalism.
