Riddim Chango's 6th release (2019), a label that transmits the appeal of dub from the Japanese underground. Since launching his own label, Ruff Signal, in 2018, he has produced an astounding number of vinyl releases, and his songs are now being played on sound systems in Europe and around the world. Producer Dub Kazman and one of the dub labels Riddim Chango/ Osaka dub party Dub Meeting presided over, recently he has collaborated with Jamaican MCs and Bristol labels one after another, Japanese producer Hiroshi Takakura aka who truly embodies the stepper. Released by Element as a dub duo. At the time of its release, the dubplate had already shaken the audience, and the A-side develops from a mysterious stepper with dungeon synths to an earth-shattering dub. A four-on-the-floor dub B-side that makes you feel a retro future. From Jamaica to Bristol to Detroit, and resonating with dance music in Osaka, this 12-inch is packed with the essence of dub, "Nafty Vibes". The more you listen to it, the more the emo of the two producers will be exposed, and I want you to feel the unique feeling of approaching from the dub side to the house side.
Personally, I listened to it a lot when it was first released, but when I think about why I still like this single 3 years later (it was a complete B-side at first, but now the A-side is also the best) ), and the “unfinished beauty” created by the sense of distance between the two and the rough-cut condition of the track appears everywhere in the track, and it may be the place where the joy of music is unexpectedly born.
