The song begins with a sample of NY jazz artist Betty Carter's "This Time", and before you know it, it bursts into deep house with Amp Dog Knight's singing voice. But Moodymann's skill at blurring the line between jazz and deep house shines through, like it's back to where it started. Is it unique to Moodymann that such a thing can be done?
