Deadbeat, a Montreal veteran who's been through foggy dub techno labels like Background, Cynosure, ~scape and Echocord, is making his own. 7 inch (2012) first appeared on ZamZam Sounds after being dub-released on the BLKRTZ label. A dubwise dancehall burner produced as a tribute to Mr. Cool Ruler, Gregory Isaacs, who swept the Jamaican music scene in the 70's and passed away in 2010. Be sure to listen to the B-side version, which is profound and somewhat euphoric.
