After leaving the British post-punk band Lemon Kittens, she released her first solo album in 1983 as British experimental musician Danielle Dax. A post-punk masterpiece depicting a pop and bizarre world view while using guitar, drums, bass, flute, keyboard, banjo, saxophone, trumpet, tape, TR-808, etc. in a dark fairy tale. The original jacket design was a collage of human body photos by Danielle Dax, who was also active as a visual artist.
