Olaf Bender, one of the founders of the German electronic music label Raster-Noton, which was operated by Frank Bretschneider and Olaf Bender, former members of the East German new wave band AG Geige, and Carsten Nicolai, also known as Alva Noto. solo project Byetone's only vinyl-cut album (2011).
Away from the Raster-Noton image of fierce glitches and sharp pulse sounds of the previous album, this work returns to minimal techno while focusing on body music and industrial with an experimental stance.
At the time of its release, the album was said to have lost a lot of enthusiastic fans, but it is still highly regarded today, and has produced a strong sound unique to Raster-Noton, produced by Japanese producers such as NHK, Aoki Takamasa, and Kyoka. A piece that pioneered a new techno scene.
